PC Stress Test & Extreme Benchmark

Stress CPU, RAM, and GPU/WebGPU to verify thermal stability, peak throughput, and frame consistency under heavy load.

TESTWaiting

Stress Test

Stress CPU, RAM and GPU and download a performance report.

Select tests and press START

WHAT IS IT?

Stresses your PC: the CPU computes, memory is filled and copied, and the GPU draws thousands of particles — so we see how it behaves under real load.

WHAT'S IT FOR?

Shows if your machine can handle games, editing or multitasking. If it freezes daily, this test helps find the bottleneck.

SAFETY NOTICE

You can stop anytime with the red button. For cleaner results, close other tabs and heavy apps first.

TOTAL DURATION

CPU USAGE

QUICK GUIDE (3 steps)

  • 1) Pick what to test: tap CPU, RAM, GPU or Shaders. Or press Full Stress to run everything.
  • 2) Pick duration: 30s if you are in a hurry; 1 minute is the sweet spot; 3 minutes for a finer sample.
  • 3) CPU usage: 75% is recommended. 100% saturates the processor (the PC may get warm).
  • Tip: close other tabs and games first so the score reflects your hardware, not background load.

Multi-Component Stress Benchmark Architecture

Parallel Web Worker execution, sequential memory allocations, and WebGL/WebGPU compute pipelines.

Multi-Threaded CPU Stress (Web Workers)

Spawns isolated background Web Worker threads executing intensive trigonometric, square-root, and exponential loops to saturate CPU ALU and FPU execution pipelines without freezing the UI thread.

RAM Stress (Throughput & Buffer Churn)

Allocates contiguous 4 MB ArrayBuffer chunks and executes non-stop random-pattern writes and XOR checksum reads to evaluate memory bandwidth and IMC stability.

3D GPU Rendering (WebGL Particles)

Renders over 20,000 instanced particles with alpha blending and 3D matrix transforms to stress shader units and raster pipelines, tracking frame time consistency.

WebGPU Direct Compute Shaders

Leverages modern low-level WebGPU to run GPGPU compute passes on 262k elements directly in VRAM without draw call overhead.

Stability & Overheating Troubleshooting

Technical guide for thermal throttling, severe FPS drops, and system lockups.

Issue 1

Thermal Throttling: Severe Performance Drop Under Sustained Load

⚡ Quick Fix:Elevate your laptop base or clear PC case dust filters with compressed air to improve airflow.
🔧 Technical Fix:Repaste CPU/GPU cooler, configure aggressive BIOS fan curves, or apply a slight core voltage undervolt (-50 mV) to reduce heat dissipation.
Issue 2

Browser Tab Crashes with Out of Memory (OOM) Error

⚡ Quick Fix:Close memory-heavy background applications and set test duration to 30s.
🔧 Technical Fix:Increase Windows pagefile virtual memory allocation to >= 8 GB and run Windows Memory Diagnostic (`mdsched.exe`) to check for faulty RAM.
Issue 3

Screen Flickers or GPU Driver Resets (TDR Event)

⚡ Quick Fix:Update your NVIDIA / AMD / Intel graphics drivers to the latest WHQL release.
🔧 Technical Fix:Revert GPU VRAM and core overclocks back to stock clocks. Perform a clean driver reinstallation using DDU.
Issue 4

Very Low FPS (<15 FPS) in WebGL / GPU Test

⚡ Quick Fix:Ensure 'Use hardware acceleration when available' is enabled in your browser settings (chrome://settings/system).
🔧 Technical Fix:On dual-GPU laptops, force the dedicated GPU (NVIDIA/AMD) in graphics settings for your browser instead of integrated graphics.

Curiosities about legendary stress tests, silicon lottery, and world-record overclocking.

🍩

FurMark & The Infamous 'Power Virus'

In the 2000s, FurMark drew so much power that it literally melted GPU power stages (VRMs). GPU makers had to inject driver-level throttling when detecting the process.

🎲

The Silicon Lottery Phenomenon

Two identical CPU dies cut from the same silicon wafer have microscopic nanoscale variations. Golden Samples run at higher clocks with significantly lower voltages.

❄️

Extreme Overclocking at -196 °C with LN2

The world record CPU frequency exceeds 9.1 GHz, achieved by cryo-cooling the silicon with liquid nitrogen at -196 °C to prevent thermal breakdown.

From Prime95 to Mersenne Prime Discovery

The world's most famous CPU stress test, Prime95, was originally developed to calculate astronomical Mersenne prime numbers for the GIMPS scientific research project.

Throttling TérmicoTérmica

What is CPU/GPU thermal throttling?

A silicon protection failsafe that downclocks operating frequencies and operating core voltages when junction temperatures exceed safe operational thresholds (TjMax).

Cálculo en Coma Flotante (FPU)Cómputo

What is the Floating-Point Unit (FPU)?

Web Workers MultihiloJavaScript

How do multi-threaded Web Workers function in benchmarks?

Isolated background JavaScript execution threads decoupled from the browser main UI event loop, allowing 100% CPU thread saturation without interface freezes.
